Hull Children’s Rights and Advocacy service

Kids is on a mission to create a world where all kinds of children and young people have all kinds of opportunities. Our independent advocates support young people to champion their rights and empower them to have a voice in decisions that impact their lives. We’re here to pave the way for their dreams so they can realise their aspiration and live in a welcoming and inclusive community.

Who is it for?

Children 8 – 18 inclusive who are looked-after, placed within independent settings, or accessing short breaks.

When does it run?

9am – 5pm throughout the year

Children, young people, parents or carers can self-refer. Professionals or agencies can refer after gaining consent. Contact us using the form below.

We stand beside children and young people, advocating for their rights and growth, and providing a safe space for discussing their emotions and aspirations. We cover a range of needs, with a focus on fostering self-esteem, promoting positivity, and providing guidance on communication skills, education, relationships, and more.

We’re here to support children and young people, whether it’s overcoming practical barriers, learning new skills, or developing emotionally, we will guide, support, and celebrate every step forward.
