About the service

Fairer Futures offers three main strands of support for families:

Parent and child groups

We deliver two weekly face-to-face sessions designed to support both children and parents together in a small, friendly environment.

They focus on:

  • Supporting children’s communication and social interaction through play
  • Sharing practical strategies for everyday life
  • Providing tailored advice around sleep, behaviour, and sensory needs
  • Creating opportunities for peer support with other families

Parent/carer workshops

Our workshops give parents and carers practical tools and understanding to support their child.

Topics include:

  • Neurodevelopmental pathways (NDP)
  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Sleep
  • Understanding behaviour
  • Sensory play and sensory processing

Coffee and connect sessions

These informal sessions give parents and carers a chance to talk, share experiences, and build supportive connections.

They can be:

  • Face to face in community venues
  • Online
  • Held at twilight times to be more accessible for families
