Kids offer warm, supportive services for parent carers and families of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities across Sandwell.
Parent/carers of young people aged 0-25 pre and post an Autism diagnosis in Sandwell. The service also extends to provide training & signposting for professionals who support families in the community.
This service is free to families in Sandwell borough.
Kids offer warm, supportive services for parent carers and families of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities across Sandwell. We help provide families with practical tools, emotional support and confidence to help families thrive. This support will be delivered via both face to face and online workshops, tailored 1:1 support and regular coffee mornings.
We welcome referrals directly from parent/carers or by professionals working on behalf of the family. Please complete the referral form below a member of the team will contact you to discuss how we can best support you.
This 10 week programme is designed to improve parent carers’ health and wellbeing by promoting empowerment, confidence, and resilience.
Many parent carers don’t feel empowered to look after their own health. They may feel too tired or stressed to engage in healthy behaviours, or feel guilty about taking time for themselves. However, poor health of parent carers can have negative consequences on their wellbeing and on their children and families. Our trained facilitators who are parent carers themselves will guide you to success.

We are offing 1:1 support sessions for parents both pre and post diagnosis. These sessions can be over the phone, virtual or face to face. The aim of these sessions is to support those families most at need, where the workshops and coffee mornings are not enough. These sessions will involve tailored, family centred support.
