We’re here for young caring heroes! If you’re aged 8 to 18 and you care for a close family member then we can support you. Take some time out for yourself, meet other young carers, get advice and guidance, and have some fun.

Support clubs run on various evenings with occasional weekend trips

Young people or their families can self-refer directly – get in touch using the form below. We also accept referrals from statutory and voluntary agencies.
We support extraordinary young people who take on extra responsibilities to care for a family member dealing with illness, disability, mental health challenges, or substance misuse. Whether it’s a parent, sibling, or another close family member, their dedication can be both inspiring and overwhelming.
We host regular clubs where young carers can open up about their feelings in a safe, understanding space. It’s a chance to connect with others who share similar journeys, receive valuable support, advice and information, and most importantly have some well-deserved fun away from their caring duties. And when the holidays roll around, we’ve got exciting activities and even occasional weekends away.
Our approach is all about customising support to fit the unique needs of each young carer. We kick things off with a visit to every young carer and their family at home. Together, we design and plan support that’s tailored to individual needs. As life evolves, we keep those support plans in check, making sure they grow and change just like our young heroes do. We also team up with schools to make sure they fully understand the specific challenges our young carers face.
And when it comes to expert advice and information on any issue affecting young carers, we’ve got the connections. We provide accessible links to youth counselling and other agencies that specialise in lending a hand to our young heroes.
We’re here to give young carers the support they deserve, a space to be themselves, and the freedom to grow, learn, and play, just like any other kid.
