Young People and Parents Advisory Panel
Join the Young People and Parents Advisory Panel to help shape the Driving Digital Inclusion programme and make online spaces more accessible for children and young people with disabilities.
What is the advisory panel?
The Young People and Parents Advisory Panel will share their experiences to help shape the Driving Digital Inclusion programme. The panel will make sure the voices of disabled children, young people, and their families are listened to when creating digital services and tools for everyone.
The panel will:
- Give advice on what the programme does
- Share experiences to help design better digital solutions
- Help test and improve tools and services
- Raise awareness about digital inclusion
About the Driving Digital Inclusion Programme
The programme involves 12 UK charities working together to make sure children and young people with disabilities, and their families, can use digital technology easily.
We co-design solutions with the people who know best — young people and their families.
Who can apply
We are looking for:
- Young people aged 13–25 with a disability, long-term illness, or additional need
- Parents or carers of children and young people with disabilities or long-term illness
We welcome applications from all backgrounds, regions, and experiences.
No specific qualifications are needed — just a willingness to share your views and work with others.
What is involved?
- Meetings: About 2 per year over 2 years (online).
- Workshops: Optional co-design sessions.
- Support: We will provide training, accessibility support, and mentoring.
- Recognition: Panel members will be thanked for their time (vouchers and paid expenses)
