Kids WEBSS has been commissioned to work with parents and carers across the Wakefield district, offering early, accessible support for behaviour that challenges.

WEBSS is a non‑diagnosis‑led service for families with children aged 4–10 years. Our team provides practical, intensive support for parents and carers, helping you understand your child’s needs and feel more confident at home.

How WEBSS Supports Families

WEBSS is designed to offer early, neuroaffirming support through your local Family Hub, including:

  • Workshops and structured interventions tailored to your child’s needs
  • Approaches informed by sensory, trauma, and communication understanding
  • Support to help reduce behaviours of distress
  • Evidence‑based programmes to build parental confidence and resilience

How to Access WEBSS

  • You can access the service through a simple self‑referral
  • Complete the self‑referral form (link coming soon)
  • Once we receive your referral, we’ll send you a booking link by email
  • Use the link to book a triage call with a member of the WEBSS team
  • During the call, we’ll discuss your family’s needs and agree the most helpful support offer.
