Kids at Comic Con 2025
This year marked our very first time at MCM London Comic Con, and what an incredible weekend it was!
The atmosphere was electric, there were so many amazing costumes, and it was incredible to see everyone immerse themselves into the world of Comic Con. Amid the excitement, we wanted to create something special for families and young people who might need a moment of calm, and that’s where our Chill Zone came in.
Chill zone
We were absolutely thrilled to create a Chill Zone; a calm corner designed for families and young people who needed a moment to relax, recharge, and enjoy all the fun at their own pace. It was a peaceful space for visitors to pause, take a breather, and reset before diving back into the action.
Inside our Chill Zone, guests could:
- Relax in comfy bean bags
- Get creative with puzzles and colouring pages
- Explore sensory toys like fidget spinners
- Read some captivating comics
It quickly became a popular spot for Comic Con goers of all ages!
Kids stall
Outside the Chill Zone, our Kids stall drew plenty of attention too! Visitors stopped by to find out more about our work supporting children and young people with SEND, and many took photos in front of our bright Kids banners. It was wonderful to see so many smiles throughout the weekend.
A huge thank you goes to Panini Comics UK for supplying comic books for the event, they were an absolute hit! And thank you to Jazwares for providing the amazing raffle prizes!
