About Richard
Richard has served as a Trustee on a number of charities over the last 15 years. These charities have been involved in supporting justice, social cohesion, healthcare and young children. He is a trustee of Change Grow Live, a national health and social care charity that provides support for various challenges such as substance misuse, crisis support, advice for young people and mental health and wellbeing, where he is chair of the audit and finance committee and The Harpur Trust which supports the people who live in and around Bedford to help them improve their lives through the provision of education and direct support for the community where he chairs the audit committee and is a member of the finance committee and the community committee.
Previously Richard was a partner in EY for 35 years and has experience in many sectors including energy, retail, transport and media This positions Richard well in his role as Treasurer and Chair of Finance and Audit for Kids.
Richard is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He is married with two children and three grandchildren.
