Support for naval families

Kids is proud to work alongside the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity to offer support to service families across the country.

What we do

For several years Kids has provided support to young carers with a naval connection in the Hampshire area. Now, working with funding and support from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, we are proud to be able to extend our support to young carers from service families across the country.

Nurturing Anchors

The Nurturing Anchors course is designed to empower parent carers of neurodivergent children. Led by skilled facilitators with lived experience as parents of children who are neurodiverse, these workshops aim to improve your sense of empowerment, resilience, and confidence as a parent carer.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better course. It’s priceless.”

Young carers

If you are a young carer with a close family member in service, or with a history of service, in the Royal Navy or Royal Marines, we would love to hear from you and chat about what assistance we might be able to offer. We can maybe help you find local support, perhaps brokering communications with other providers, or even funding access to local projects.

If you’d like to know more, fill in our form below to get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.

If you live in the Hampshire area, please check out our Fareham & Gosport Young Carers Service.
