About Olivia

Olivia is the Chief Executive of Holocaust Memorial Day Trust; the organisation encourages everyone – of all ages and backgrounds – to learn from genocide, for a better future. Olivia has been with HMDT for ten years and has overseen a huge growth in local HMD events, and a much greater political and media presence.

Before this Olivia worked in other charities, mostly in the health and disability sector. Her roles have been to work with people to achieve change: political changes; policy development; raising awareness; and whilst with Scope, developed a network of disabled people and offered training to them so that they could be political campaigners.

Away from work, Olivia is busy with family life, including three children, one dog and one cat. Olivia has personal experience of disability as her youngest child has moderate learning disabilities. Olivia also loves singing with Rock Choir, and running (even though it took her 4 ½ years to complete the 9-week Couch to 5k programme!)
