On Monday 2nd March, young people from the Kids Collective led a powerful Youth Voice event at the House of Parliament, creating a dedicated space for MPs, staffers and civil servants to listen directly to young people with SEND.

Throughout the event, young people spoke candidly about the issues that matter most to them. They shared their experiences, highlighted the challenges they face, and described what good practice should look like across a range of key areas. Their insights offered not only lived‑experience expertise, but also practical guidance for shaping more effective and meaningful systems.

Kids is pleased to share this work more widely, ensuring that the voices of young people with SEND continue to influence thinking, drive improvement, and shape future guidance.
