Kids announces new Chief Executive, Katharine Sacks-Jones

Katharine Sacks-Jones said:

“I am really honoured to be joining Kids as the next Chief Executive. Kids has a clear sense of purpose, a strong reputation and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of disabled children, young people and their families.

The prospect of leading Kids at such an important time when the voices, inclusion and futures of disabled children matter more than ever is a stand-out opportunity for me, where I can combine my professional experience, personal values and lived experience. As the organisation looks ahead to its next chapter, there is extraordinary opportunity to build on Kids’ strong foundations and the brilliant leadership of Katie Ghose and to work with families, partners and supporters to achieve even more together.

I am very much looking forward to starting later this autumn and getting to know the wider Kids community, whose passion, expertise and support help to make such a difference to disabled young people and their families every day.”

Katie Ghose will leave Kids in October, and the organisation will continue to be led by its existing Executive Leadership Team, with Helen Ellis as acting CEO until Katharine Sacks-Jones takes up post in November.
