What is this workshop about?

This workshop explores the relationship between emotional regulation, anxiety, sensory overload and behaviour. It will help parents and carers understand that behaviour is often a form of communication and can provide valuable insight into how a child or young person is feeling and what support they may need.

During the session, participants will explore why behaviours may change or increase during times of heightened anxiety or sensory overwhelm, and how understanding the reasons behind these behaviours can help families respond with greater confidence and support.
