What is this workshop about?

This free workshop, delivered by SENDIAS, is designed to support parents and carers to understand home to school travel assistance and how decisions are made.

We will explain:

  • Who may be eligible for transport support
  • The local (Croydon) and national criteria and policies
  • When and how to apply for travel assistance
  • What to do if your application is refused
  • The Croydon Local Authority appeals process and your rights as a parent

This session aims to give parents the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions and effectively advocate for their child’s travel needs.
