About Sara

Sara is an experienced communications, PR and marketing professional, with a proven track record in the planning, management and delivery of external and internal communication strategies within the charity sector.

Having held mid and senior level roles within the sector, including at Young Epilepsy and Spurgeon’s Children’s Charity, she currently works part time as head of fundraising and communications for a female cancer charity.

She is also a mum to two daughters. In her spare time, she is a keen runner and writer and volunteers for the Lily Foundation’s annual family weekend, which is dedicated to supporting children and families living with the life limiting mitochondrial disease.
