The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (AFCFT) and the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) have partnered with Kids to provide a wide range of support such as courses and workshops specifically for the Royal Navy community.
The ‘Nurturing Anchors’ course is designed to empower parent carers of neurodivergent children. Led by skilled facilitators with lived experience as parents of children who are neurodiverse, these workshops aim to improve your sense of empowerment, resilience, and confidence as a parent carer.
We are currently running four groups:
Discover invaluable insights and actionable strategies at our three-hour workshop designed for naval families, specifically crafted to tackle the unique challenges of parenting neurodivergent children.
Led by practitioners with firsthand experience, we explore crucial topics including ADHD, autism, and learning difficulties.
Learn about key tools such as ABC and STAR approaches, the feelings thermometer, and the soothe box, then elevate your behaviour management skills with sensory support strategies.
Join us as we empower you with practical knowledge and effective approaches to navigate the complexities of parenting neurodiverse children.
