Want to work for an inspiring charity making a real difference to the lives of disabled children and young people?

We are looking for sessional workers to join our teams across the Midlands.

Short break workers work on a one to one basis with children and young people in the community and in their homes.

During a break you may take a child swimming, to a local park  or perhaps to the shops. Our breaks are designed around the child and their interests and hobbies. Disabled children and young people want to do the same activities as their non-disabled peers and KIDS short break workers support them to do that.

Experience working with disabled children desirable however all applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of disabled children and young people and a commitment to safeguarding.

We are keen to hear from men as they are underrepresented currently.

We would also be especially pleased to hear from you if you want to work in Sandwell, Staffordshire, Walsall or Birmingham.

All posts are subject to a DBS check.

Training will be given including E learning which must be completed prior to starting work.
