About us Careers SENDIAS Young People's Practitioner - Warwickshire Closing date: 21st October 2018Full Time Equivalent (FTE) salary: Grade 5, £20,598 per annumHours per week: Full time with some evenings and occasional Saturdays, permanent, 36 hours per weekLocation: Warwickshire, CV7The role:KIDS have a vacancy for a dynamic and motivated Young People’s Practitioner who is able promote the Warwickshire Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service to young people across Warwickshire and enable young people to access the service directly. Your role will be to promote the service to young people directly and to engage with them by providing information and advice on all areas of special educational needs. A key area of work will be developing and promoting online information and advice using a range of online resources. You will also be expected to develop excellent partnerships with key organisations including schools, colleges and youth organisations to promote and increase access to the service. Experience of working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities is essential as is a commitment to giving young people a voice KIDS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
