Number of roles: 4 Location: Hull The role: Play Workers in Charge will be expected to manage a team of 5 staff, and to work as part of a team to empower young people with disabilities to engage in a range of activities of their choice on a summer play scheme. Play Workers in Charge are expected to plan activities and outings on a weekly basis, ensuring that the young people and staff are involved in the decision making process.Play Workers in Charge are responsible for the safety of the young people at all times- on outings, in the mini bus and in centres- through the implementation of a key worker system.Play Workers in Charge are to provide appropriate and sensitive physical and personal care.It is important that Playworkers in Charge are creative, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour.Play Workers in Charge are to report to the Play and Leisure Senior Practitioner and/or Coordinator.Due to the nature and responsibility of this post applicants under the age of 18 will not be considered.
