£7.72 per hour (plus 12.07% holiday pay)

The role:

Play Worker Bus Drivers will be expected to work as part of a team to support and empower young people with disabilities to engage in a range of activities of their choice on a summer play scheme.

Play Worker Bus Drivers are expected to plan activities and outings on a weekly basis, ensuring that the young people are involved in the decision making process.

Play Worker Bus Drivers are expected to safely transport young people to and from their homes and on excursions in a mini bus.

Play Worker Bus Drivers are responsible for the safety of the young people at all times- on outings, in the mini bus and in centres.

Play Worker Bus Drivers are to provide appropriate and sensitive physical and personal care.

It is important that Playworker Bus Drivers are creative, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour.

Play Worker Bus Drivers are to report to the Play Worker in Charge.

Due to the requirements of the minibus insurance policy, applicants must be aged 25 or over and have a D1 entitlement on their driving licence.
