Chief Executive - Katie Ghose Expand Katie became the Chief Executive at KIDS in November 2019. She has twenty-seven years’ experience in the social sector and previously served as Chief Executive of Women’s Aid Federation of England, the Electoral Reform Society and the British Institute of Human Rights. At Women’s Aid, Katie led vital work to safeguard and sustain local women’s services. Prior to that under her leadership the Electoral Reform Society became established as the UK’s leading democracy think-tank. As Director of the British Institute of Human Rights, Katie developed innovative human rights awareness programmes to support disabled people and people with mental health problems to secure dignity and respect in health and care services. Katie is a former barrister and has worked in policy and public affairs for national charities including Citizens’ Advice and Age UK.
HR Director - Sally Storton Expand Sally has over 15 years of expertise within Human Resources, both within the public and private sectors. Skills & Experience: Extensive HR experience gained with George Wimpey, Telewest (now Virgin Media), AXA and the University of Warwick. Covers the whole range of HR issues from generalist support through to organisational development and change management through to policy development.
Director of Finance and IT - Emma Teviotdale Expand Emma is a chartered certified accountant and has extensive experience working across both the private and public sector. After gaining a BA Hons Degree in Business from Anglia Ruskin University she started her career working for a UK subsidiary of a NASDAQ company and then transferred this commercial experience to the public sector working in both local and national government. Emma has particular experience in transformation projects and implementing financial systems.
National Operations Director – Katherine Shaw Expand Katherine has over 15 years of regional leadership experience in both the commercial and charity sectors. She joined KIDS from CSV (Community Service Volunteers) where her role included the management of a significant transformation project. Previous to that she spent five years with the Shaw Trust as Head of Service. Katherine has extensive experience of growing and developing regional services, working with commissioners and funders across multiple contracts and financial and performance management.
Interim Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement - Adina Claire Expand Adina has over 25 years of experience, building high performing teams in charities, raising many millions for social change, creating powerful strategies for growth and reach, supporting organisations through challenging times and ensuring good governance and culture as a CEO, Director of functions including Fundraising, Communications and External Affairs and as a Trustee. She provides leaders and organisations the means to forge social impact through: experienced interim management, insightful strategic management and fundraising consultancy, empowering coaching and mentoring for team members.
