Our services Play and Social Orchard Centre Youth Clubs The youth clubs are run in partnership with the Local Authority enabling young people with disabilities to access to youth services with support from workers who have experience with working with disabled young people. How does the service work? The young people arrive at the session and have half an hour to settle and chat with their friends and then there is an activity for an hour from either in house or external professionals. External professionals provide activities such as dance (salsa, bhangra, street), boxing, golf, yoga, wheelchair basketball multi-sport and workshops. In house activities include bingo, pool/darts competitions, arts and crafts, film and pizza nights and sports activities. After the activity the rest of the session is free time where the young people have access to the computer room / sensory room / pool table / darts board / board games / arts and crafts and the sofas/bean bags to relax on. Some weeks the groups have trips out to local facilities such as swimming, ice skating, cinema, laser quest and local restaurants. The youth clubs are held at: Life Central Church, Little Cornbow, Halesowen B63 3AJ and KIDS Orchard Centre, Lye By-pass, Lye, Stourbridge DY9 8HA Who is the service for? Young people aged 13-25 years.
