Gail Gregg KIDS Regional Manager and nominee said:

"Nominating staff and  projects for The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards was a great way to boost morale and show case the excellent work we do especially with the challenges we have all faces as a result of the pandemic.”

KIDS Lincolnshire currently supports over 400 families in the region and over the last year has provided over 10,000 hours of support, including 3,000 virtual hours. Services include domiciliary care, afterschool clubs and early years support.

Mum of Billy and Mitchell, who attend the KIDS Strut afterschool club and play scheme, said:

"KIDS is a massive part of our life. If it wasn’t for them life would be a lot more difficult. I really can’t put into words or give KIDS enough praise for what they did and still do for us. Knowing your vulnerable child is in safe hands is priceless.”

Nathan Bowles, KIDS Senior Practitioner and nominee said:

"Receiving the nomination was an unexpected but lovely surprise, especially after such a challenging 18 months, it’s been a real boost to my morale"

All finalists are being interview by a judging panel shortly and the winners will be announced at a ceremony in Birmingham on 29th October 2021.
