Out and About in East Hants If you want to have an exciting day out with friends then you’re in the right place! A wide range of trips on offer from high action to more chilled and relaxing.Who is it for? These trips are for young people aged 8-19 who want to try new things and generally have fun! Where is it?This scheme covers a large area and has enabled young people to make new friends outside of their usual friendship circle and enhance their social skills along the way.We do a number of pick up’s along the East Hants area and then make our way to the chosen activity for the day. The activities are mostly based within 1 hour of East Hants but we do a couple of trips a little further afield for those that fancy them. ActivitiesSome examples of the opportunities we can provide are: - Theme parks - Bird World - Swimming - London - Bowling - Activity Centres How to access Out and AboutSelf referrals can be made direct to KIDS or to your social worker. Young people need to have a Hampshire Gateway Card. You can apply for a card here: http://www3.hants.gov.uk/gatewaycard Places are allocated as fairly as possible and cancellation/waiting lists are in use. We will inform you of dates in advance and make clear which sessions your young person has been given.
