About this service

Portage Home Based Learning lends a helping hand through regular home visits from a trained practitioner.

Once we’ve learned about your child’s unique gifts, abilities, and the kind of support they need, our practitioner becomes a weekly visitor to your home. Together, you’ll explore your child’s abilities and plan exciting activities that will propel their development to the next level.

Our Learning Practitioners are experts in the art of breaking down big developmental goals into small, achievable steps through fun play activities. We plan learning activities that fit them, based on their current strengths and the areas where they need a little extra boost. We give them the tools they need to conquer those steps, one fun activity at a time.

Our playful approach works wonders for children who might be finding specific skills tricky to grasp. We’ll leave you with activities and equipment that support your child’s learning journey throughout the week.

Our home visits thrive on the partnership between your family and our practitioner. It’s a team effort to make sure your child shines.
