When are the sessions?are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays 15.00 until 17.30 (Term Time)Who is it for?Children and young people aged 4-19 years. ActivitiesYoung People have the opportunity to take part in activities such as group games, sports, art and craft, cooking and outside play. The club offers a healthy snack halfway through the session; we encourage the young people to take part in the preparation and serving of snack. The staff team are skilled and experienced in supporting individual needs and we make every effort to ensure young people’s needs are met whilst enabling them to be independent, develop their skills and make new friends. Saturday Fun Club KIDS Saturday club is committed to all young people having access to high quality play provision. We recognise that disabled children and young people may require additional support to be able to access play opportunities and have a skilled and experienced staff team in place to ensure this is possible.Who is it for?Children and young people aged 4-19 years. The club offers a stimulating, social and safe environment for children to develop their social skills through play. Parents and carers benefit from the break with the children having an opportunity to spend time in their own 'club’. When are the sessions? dates scheduled for 2014/2015 are as follows Saturday fun club 6th and 20th June 4th and 18th July 22nd August 5th and 19th September 3rd, 17th and 31st October 14th and 28th November 12th December 9th and 23rd January 6th and 23rd February 5th and 19th March ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND SESSIONS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE AND CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING RECEIVED. ActivitiesEach session, the children enjoy a range of activities including; sports, art, cooking, sensory studio, outside space including a secure wooded area where young people can explore the natural world. The clubs are very child led with staff taking the lead from young people and using this to inform the planned activities on offer. Holiday Play Schemes KIDS Holiday Play schemes run across most school holiday periods. We offer an exciting, diverse and accessible programme of activities, with a mixture of day trips and onsite activity days.Who is it for?Children and young people aged 4-19 years.When are the sessions?dates scheduled for 2014/2015 are as follows Summer play scheme 3rd – 6th august 10th – 14th august 17th – 21st august October half term 28th - 30th October Christmas play scheme 22nd- 24th December February half term 17th – 19th February ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND SESSIONS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE AND CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING RECEIVEDActivitiesOur recent trips have including visits to Chessington World of Adventures, QE2 Activity centre, Science Centre, Cinema, Bowling. Onsite activity sessions allow time and space for free play, as KIDS recognise that free play helps children and young people learn essential skills which can be transferred into other aspects of their development. Site facilitiesThere is a wide range of pre planned activities and visitors such as magicians, DJ workshops, inflatables, sports workshops, water play, go-karts/bikes and cooking sessions. Within the site we have use of a sensory studio, art room and large outside space which includes an enclosed early years playground and large secure wooded area where young people can explore the natural world.
