Friday 30 April 2021 would have been Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday and the one-year anniversary of him completing the now famous 100 laps of his gardens. To mark this momentous date, we are asking you to join us with the Captain Tom 100 to dream up and complete a fundraising activity based around the number 100 between Friday 30 April to Monday 3 May.

We would love you to use this unique opportunity to raise much needed funds for KIDS to support disabled children, young people and their families.  You can read more about the challenge here.

How to get involved

1. Get inspired - think up a challenge based around the number 100.  It could be 100 laps of your local park, learn 100 jokes, try 100 different foods, sing 100 songs or go on a 100km bike ride.  Read our handy guide for plenty more ideas

2. Get raising - set up a Justgiving or VirginMoneyGiving page to donate to KIDS or collect sponsorship.  You could even nominate friends and family to take part as well!  There is no minimum sponsorship needed, but pages with targets tend to raise more so why not aim for £100?

3. Get going - complete your challenge at any time between 30th April and 3rd May and share the fun on social media using #CaptainTom100 @KIDSCharity

4. Get rewarded - anyone who raises £50 or more for KIDS, will be offered a limited edition KIDS 50th birthday medal as our way of saying thank you!
