Short Breaks Support Worker - Staple Hill


Closing date: 10th September 2016

Hourly rate: £8.12 per hour (+12.07% holiday pay)
Hours of work: One shift per week Mon 4pm – 7pm. Day time holiday hours will also be available
Location: Staple Hill, South West

The role:

KIDS are looking for a short breaks worker to join our busy team, supporting a young disabled person and their family in the community.

The young woman you will support is 12 years old and likes being outside. She also enjoys music, stories and arts and crafts. They require a worker who is enthusiastic and who also enjoys being outdoors.  Personal care, PEG feeding, epilepsy awareness and hoisting will also be required as part of the role but experience is not always essential as training will be given.

So if you have some experience of supporting disabled people, would be committed to the role and to providing a safe and enjoyable session for the young person, we would love to hear from you.

The role is subject to references and an enhanced DBS check
