KIDS operates a seven bed residential home in Almondsbury providing overnight short breaks for disabled children and young people aged between 8 and 18 years old. We are now seeking additional staff members to join our existing team, delivering a high quality service for disabled young people.
- Have significant experience of working with children and young people with a diverse range of disabilities?
- Possess Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma, or its equivalent?
- Have at least one year’s relevant supervisory experience?
- Have substantial experience of working in a residential care setting?
Shift patterns to be discussed at interview but you will be required to take part in an on call rota.
As well as 25 days’ holidays on starting, in addition to Bank Holidays, following satisfactory completion of your probationary period, you will also receive life assurance cover, and KIDS will match your pension contributions up to a maximum of 3%.
KIDS will pay for your enhanced DBS check to be carried out, and offers a comprehensive induction, as well as ongoing training opportunities.
It is a legal requirement in the National Minimum Standards for staff to be over the age of 21.
