2 Roles available, Grade 5, FTE Salary £20,395-£22,500
We are looking for two roles within the service – (1) a caseworker with a focus on increasing our work with children and young people and (2) a caseworker with the ability to support at and attend tribunals.
The service provides impartial, free and confidential support to disabled children and young people with SEN and their parent carers. Both roles require the provision of advice, support and information to parent carers, children and young people around EHC assessments, school support, exclusions and related issues. As part of the role, you would attend meetings to support parents and young people, and make home visits if required. Based in Medway, you will be expected to travel within the area and must have a valid driving licence and have access to a car. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. There will be an expectation of flexibility in terms of hours worked in order to meet the needs of the role.
Children’s and young persons’ role: Tues to Thurs 9am to 5pm, 22.5 hours per week, £20,395 FTE
Caseworker role: Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm 36 hours per week £20,395-£22,500 FTE (early finish Weds)
