We seek to recruit a Senior Practitioner – Transitions to lead the delivery of a high quality service to disabled children and young people living in Solihull in partnership with parents and existing providers. Fixed term to 31 March 2015 with the hope of it continuing passed this date subject to funding.
NVQ3, BTEC or equivalent recognised qualification in the field of youth work is preferable, along with 2-5 years experience of relevant work, managing projects and supervising a staff team. Proven track record of working with disabled young people with moderate and severe learning difficulties is essential, together with experience of working within a multi-agency/multi-disciplinary team.
Flexibility is required as there will be some evening and weekend work.
