Play Worker- Bus Driver

Approx 42.5 hours per week, £7.47 (plus £090 holiday pay per hour)

The Position

Play Worker Bus Drivers will be expected to support and empower young people with disabilities to engage in a range of activities of their choice on a summer play scheme. Play Worker Bus Drivers are expected to plan activities and outings on a weekly basis, ensuring that the young people are involved in the decision making process. Play Worker Bus Drivers are expected to safely transport young people to and from their homes and on excursions in a mini bus.

 

Play Worker Bus Drivers are to ensure the safety of the young people at all times- on outings, in the mini bus and in center’s.

 

Play Worker Bus Drivers are to provide appropriate and sensitive physical and personal care.

 

Play Worker Bus Drivers are to report to the Play Worker in Charge.

 

The role will be from 23^rd July 2012 until 24^th August 2012
