Working with disabled children, young people and their families

Peterborough Young Carers Project

We support young people from the age of 5 to 18 years who provide a caring role for someone with an impairment, mental health issue, substance misuse or HIV/Aids in their household; taking on a practical and/or emotional caring responsibilities that would normally be expected of an adult.

We support young carers by providing activities, trips and a space where they can meet together to have fun and chill out. We also provide a one-to-one service when required.
