EDF Birmingham Half Marathon

Sunday 23rd October 2011

It’s the biggest running event in Birmingham with over 14,000 taking part last year’s event and this year is set to be the best yet! It may seem like a long way off, but this year’s Birmingham Half Marathon 2011 will soon be upon us! Kilimanjaro Trek

Located on the North Eastern tip of Tanzania Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the world's highest peaks and the setting for a truly amazing charity trek!

As part of a team, you will trek towards the picturesque snow capped peaks and observe the natural beauty of the Tanzanian landscape. You'll be trekking through a blend of diverse terrains from jungle to volcanic craters before reaching the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak.  This is an amazing opportunity to trek Kilimanjaro and one of the most beautiful parts of Africa over 10 days and climb to heights of over 5500 feet!

KIDS Tandem Sky Dives

Imagine watching the ground from 10,000 ft in the air, sitting at the open doorway of the plane with the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears and only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph! Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air. Why not just imagine, and experience it for real on a KIDS Tandem Skydive!
