Hackney Outreach Befriending Service - HOBS
The Hackney Outreach Befriending Service known as HOBS is a provision that provides help and support for disabled young people to access a wider range of leisure activities within Hackney.
The service works in close partnership with the young person and their family to help expand and explore new leisure and social opportunities with the Hackney. The service consists of a befriending worker providing a three and a half hour session once a week for twenty four sessions over a six month period.
Opening Times: 08.30 to 18.30 Monday to Thursday
Cost of Service: This service is free.
How to Refer:
Referrals are via the Hackney Children with Disabilities Team for families with children and young people with disabilities living in Hackney. To enquire for further details regarding the referral process please contact the Children with Disabilities Team in Hackney on 0207147100
