Real Life Parenting

Based in Newham, among the most socially deprived parts of London with significant problems of poverty and inequality, Real Life Parenting was set up by a group of parents and carers of disabled children in order to address key gaps in services.

We provide innovative and much-needed services for the whole family, including regular inclusive after-school and weekend club sessions for children, young people and young adults, holiday play schemes and short breaks and In Control individual budget programmes. Real Life Parenting also provides tailored training services including parenting support for families and person-centred planning with schools and local authorities.
