Lady Allen Playground

Lady Allen Playground has recently achieved their Quality in Play accreditation from Play England. This accreditation acknowledges that we are providing a good play experience for disabled children and young people. We are pleased to have this recognition and look forward to building on this recognition and further developing the play experience on the playground.

The Lady Allen Adventure (Wandsworth) Playground is a safe and secure oasis on the north edge of Wandsworth common, surrounded by trees and shrubbery.  We have lots of swings, slides and play structures and a wild wooded area behind the building where children dig, make dens, climb and hide. The indoor facilities include play areas, a soft play installation, an arts and crafts area, an indoor slide and a video games room.

The Playground provides adventurous, imaginative, and exciting play opportunities for disabled children and their siblings between the ages of 5 and 14.

Opening Times:

The playground is open during term time for School Visits;

School Holiday Playschemes:    Monday to Friday 10.00 to 16.00
After School Club:                     Tuesday to Friday 15.30 to 18.00 
Saturday Club                           10.00 to 16.00
Lady Allen is also open to the public at specific times during term times and holidays.

Cost of Service:

This service costs £3.50 per child per 6 hour session with a concessionary rate of £2.50 per child per 6 hour session. After school sessions cost £2.00 per session and includes a snack.
