Westminster Home Learning
We are a registered Portage service, which is an Educational programme for disabled preschool children. We are part of the Children’s Centre team, participating in events and activities.
We work in partnership with families to encourage their children to progress in their development. Home Learning is available to all disabled children who live in Westminster. We visit families at their home weekly; looking at what their child can do and developing skills through small steps. Parents and carers play a key role as they are encouraged to follow through on the activities over the week with their child and to access services in their cluster area.
Regular sessions:
* Sensory group every Wednesday 10am – 11.30am with additional topics and different professionals attending as part of the information sharing requested by parents.
* Drop in for families with Disabled children and siblings every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, 1.30 - 2.30pm.
Opening Times: 09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday
