Fareham & Gosport Young Carers
This project supports young people aged 7 to 18 years old who have significant caring responsibilities for a close family member who has a long or short term disability or illness. It gives the young carer time out for themselves. They can socialise and get away from their caring responsibilities.
We work in partnership with the young people to identify and shape the service to meet their needs; we also work to raise awareness of the demands that caring puts on their lives.
The project provides the opportunity for young carers to gain mutual support, talk about their concerns and enable them to take time out.

Cost of Service: £0.70 subscription charge per session
