Volunteer Support Assistant (Residential Respite Unit)
The residential unit provides over night and short breaks for young people with disabilities, additional and complex needs.
Duties include
• Escorting staff and young people on external activities
• Assist staff and young people with internal activities
• Working one to one with a young person on varies tasks
Experience and Qualities
• No previous experience required
• Non judgemental, caring, calm, willingness to learn
• Team player
• Sense of humour and fun individual
• Understanding of Equal Opportunities
• Understanding of Health and Safety
Hours and Location
Various hours are available during the day and evenings and at weekends. We are looking for individuals able to commit for a minimum of 4 hours each month.
Based at the residential unit at the Fareham Family Centre
