Volunteer Fundraising Ambassador (Winchester)

This is a new exciting role for an individual that would like to be part of our new fundraising team in Winchester

Duties include:
• Researching fundraising opportunities
• Writing letters to potential supporters
• Acting as KIDS ambassador at fundraising events in the area
• Speaking to groups and organisations
• Recruiting participants for marathons and skydiving
• Attend occasional face to face meetings with Fundraising Manager
• Developing a strategy for fundraising in Winchester

Experience and Qualities
• Experience of fundraising
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of marketing, PR and advertising
• Self motivated and able to work alone with little supervision
• Ability to deliver presentations to wide audiences
• Computer skills with access to computer at home
• Clean drivers licence and access to vehicle (desirable)
• Understanding of Equal Opportunities
• Understanding of Health and Safety

Hours and Location
Home based, but with the occasional use of a desk at our Winchester office. Flexible hours; maybe required to work occasional weekends and evenings.
