Volunteer Fundraising Ambassador (Kent)

 

This is a new exciting role for an individual that would like to be part of developing our fundraising in Kent.

Duties include:
• Researching fundraising opportunities
• Writing letters to potential supporters
• Acting as KIDS ambassador at fundraising events in the county
• Speaking to businesses, groups and organisations
• Recruiting participants for marathons and skydiving
• Developing a strategy for fundraising in the county

Experience and Qualities
• Experience of fundraising
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of marketing, PR and advertising
• Self motivated and able to work alone with little supervision
• Ability to deliver presentations to wide audiences
• Computer skills with access to computer at home
• Clean drivers licence and access to vehicle (desirable)
• Understanding of Equal Opportunities
• Understanding of Health and Safety

Hours and Location
Home based, flexible hours but may require occasional weekend and evening work.
