Hornsea Outreach Service
The structured play development sessions cater for pre-school children who have special educational needs or are disabled, and also to those undiagnosed children who are experiencing difficulty within an area of development and who would benefit from a regular play experience.
The themes, principles, and commitments of the Early Years Foundation Stage are also fundamental to the KIDS Outreach service. We recognise that parents can be the best educators of their children, and that all children develop in individual ways at their own pace, and that each child has a unique profile of abilities and needs.
Outreach sessions are based on a foundation of providing an environment which supports every child’s learning through planned activities and experiences that are achievable. We work in partnership with parents and other professionals to support a child's progress towards the outcomes of Every Child Matters.
Opening Times: 13:30 to 15:00 Thursday
Cost of Service: This service is free
How to refer: Referrals for the sessions can be made by either parents or professionals.
