The KITES projects
Transitions to adulthood for young people aged 16-25.
The KITES (KIDS Inclusive Transitions Extended Service) projects offer fun and inclusive sessions where you can meet new friends, learn new skills, enjoy new experiences. You can learn semi/full independent living skills and gain confidence to promote access to college and work opportunities. We provide mentoring experience for older members to work with the younger members as a buddy and role model and nights out to age appropriate pubs, restaurants and theatres.
We support parents/carers and whole families through this most important time in a young person's life, by giving young people confidence in what they can do independently and what can be achieved through person centred planning and advocacy.
Cost: £5 per person, per session.
