The KITES projects

Transitions to adulthood for young people aged 16-25.

KITES Solihull imageThe KITES (KIDS Inclusive Transitions Extended Service) projects offer fun and inclusive sessions where you can meet new friends, learn new skills, enjoy new experiences. You can learn semi/full independent living skills and gain confidence to promote access to college and work opportunities. We provide mentoring experience for older members to work with the younger members as a buddy and role model and nights out to age appropriate pubs, restaurants and theatres.

We support parents/carers and whole families through this most important time in a young person's life, by giving young people confidence in what they can do independently and what can be achieved through person centred planning and advocacy.

Cost: £5 per person, per session.
