Disability Awareness and Inclusion Training
KIDS Disability Awareness and Inclusion Training aims to help make any settings who work with children and young people fully inclusive. The aim is to give a brief overview of the barriers that disabled children and young people face when accessing mainstream activities within society. The training is designed for anybody who either works with disabled children and young people, or in the public sector providing a leisure service, either after school, at weekends or during the holiday. The training can be tailored to your own type of leisure facility and offer practical solutions to breaking down barriers and adapting activities.
