Grade 4, 36 hours per week, FTE Salary £23,026

The Position
Impact of being a young carer.
Being a young carer can have detrimental effects on young people, including
problems at school, health problems, emotional difficulties, isolation, lack of time for leisure, feeling different, pressure from keeping family problems a secret, problems with transition to adulthood, lack of recognition and feeling they are not being listened to.
This exciting new project for KIDS in conjunction with Bracknell Forest Council is looking for an outstanding individual to deliver this service. Are you the right person!
Key skills and experience.
Experience of working with children and young people.
A certificate in Youth Work or equivalent
Ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-agency work
A sound working knowledge of IT and data systems
Ability to work alone and as a member of a team.
Good communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with both children and their parents.
A person used to opening new channels and dialogue with key services including schools.
Full driving licence and access to own transport with business use insurance.
This is a dynamic position with a well respected charity both nationally and locally.
