Play and Leisure Extended Services Manager

Grade 3, 18-20 hours (including some evenings and Saturdays)

Temporary position covering Maternity Leave from 3 May 2011

The Position

KIDS has a vacancy for a manager in the newly re-grouped Extended Services Department formed from Play and Leisure and Young Carers. This is to cover maternity leave.

  • Do you have the skills and experience to motivate and manage teams of staff to delivery a variety of play and leisure activities for children with disabilities at Saturday fun clubs, summer and holiday playschemes, youth clubs and weekday clubs throughout Hampshire and Berkshire?

  • Are you confident and competent to develop new contracts through tendering and grant applications throughout the South East region?

  • Do you have excellent presentation skills at local authority level and experience in project management?

  • An ability to perform to Key Performance Indicators and tight time frames is essential.
