Trust Development Manager
Maternity Cover, Grade 3, 36 hours per week, FTE Salary £31,251
Temporary role to cover maternity leave

The Position
The objective of the Trusts Development Manager position is to facilitate KIDS in achieving its fundraising and development targets, vision and mission through the effective development and management of the Trust Fundraising programme with a particular focus on high level prospects.
The role is a full time maternity cover for 7 months starting ideally 14 March 2011. Interviews are expected to happen on 31 January. The main responsibilities are:
- Income generation and long term relationship management from trusts, focusing on high value trusts and foundations including the John Ellerman Foundation, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the City Bridge Trust.
- Responsible for leading the development and implementation of successful strategies to maximise financial support from these sources and from new prospects.
- Monitoring project development
- Support the Fundraising and Administration Officer in managing the relationship, applying and reporting to smaller Trusts and Foundations.
