Play Worker

£6.59 per hour (plus £0.80 per hour holiday pay), up to 37.5 hours per week

The Position:

Play Workers are to support and empower young people with disabilities to engage in a range of activities of their choice on a summer play scheme. Play Workers are expected to plan activities and outings on a weekly basis, ensuring that the young people are involved in the decision making process.

Play Workers are to ensure the safety of the young people at all times- on outings, in the mini bus and in center’s.

Play Workers are to provide appropriate and sensitive physical and personal care.

Play Workers are to report to the play worker in charge.
