Play Worker In Charge

£7.80 per hour (plus £0.94 per hour holiday pay), up to 37.5 hours per week

The Position

 

Play Workers in Charge will be expected to manage a team of 5 staff, to support and empower young people with disabilities to engage in a range of activities of their choice on a summer play scheme. Play Workers in Charge are expected to plan activities and outings on a weekly basis, ensuring that the young people and staff are involved in the decision making process.

Play Workers in Charge are to ensure the safety of the young people at all times- on outings, in the mini bus and in center’s- through the implementation of a key worker system.

Play Workers in Charge are to provide appropriate and sensitive physical and personal care.

Play Workers in Charge are to report to the Play and Leisure Coordinator.
